Requests per second

Each plan (service) has a different rate limit, see: pricing details.

If a plan has a limit of, for example: 20. This means that the user (you as a reader) can make 20 HTTP requests per second. If you exceed this limit, the server api.postcode-api.nl will respond with an HTTP 429 Too Many Requests. Once the user drops below 20 HTTP requests per second, the temporary "block" expires and the service continues normally.

Requests per month

Each plan has a maximum number of requests that a plan can make per month. If the plan exceeds the maximum number of requests, an HTTP 429 Too Many Requests will eventually be returned.
